Here are some various groups of pictures! It starts Mother's Day weekend when Jenni and her friend Josh came for a visit. I took them to my favorite lighthouse and then to see the Bush Compound in Kennebuckport, ME. Then there are some pictures of our first camping trip of the season to Old Orchard Beach, ME. From there another weekend we kept Derek and took him to Hampton Beach, NH for the afternoon. It was too cold to go into the water, but there was plenty for him to do anyway! Next pictures are from Mountain Lake Campgrounds in Lancaster, NH. We went moose hunting...BUT didn't see any! Then just recently we went to TN for Drew's 3rd birthday. We took the kids one day to the Jump Zone...scary place for grandparents, but great fun for the kids! Lots of jumping and sliding and praying for no broken bones! Then we went to the Monkey Tree - an indoor playground if you will...little safer than Jump Zone!

So I told John several weeks ago to be ready this past weekend for a surprise road trip! I gave him the clues ABC/56. There was a big Corvette Show in Atlantic City and I decided he would enjoy seeing this. They were having a "history walk" with one Corvette for every year since they started making Corvettes in 1953. So his clues - A=Atlantic City, B= Ballys (where we stayed), C=Corvette Show and 56=56 years of Corvettes on display. So if you like Corvettes - watch this slideshow and if you don't....then don't!!!!

So Christmas 2008 has come and gone! Here are a few of our Christmas pictures and some of Maddie's 5th birthday and Drew's Christmas Show at his daycare. The 5th birthday and Christmas show pictures are a little blurry, Ashley sent them to me through Walgreens photos and somehow when I transfer them they get a little blurry. I am technically challenged! Also a few of the pictures have "red eye", but again I am technically challenged! We had a great Christmas and are so fortunate to be surrounded by cute babies, grandkids, wonderful friends, family and pugs! Hope you all had a nice Christmas and Happy New Year. Hope 2009 is happy and healthy for everyone of our dear friends!

Yesterday we went to the Keene, NH Pumpkin Festival. Each year they try to break a world record with the most lit pumpkins in one place. Last year they had about 28,000 pumpkins. They were hoping for 30,000 this year. They light them all at dusk. They usually have about 70,000 people who come. Some of the designs are unbelievable, but to see that many pumpkins...I have never before! It takes a few minutes to watch...hope you enjoy!

Last weekend we went to Booth Bay, ME for Friday and Saturday night. On Saturday we drove up to Bar Harbor, ME for the day. It was so nice. We have winterized the RV now and no more trips until next spring. Maine is definitely the most beautiful state and I know we will visit that state more next year!

I had to go to TN last week on my way to Atlanta for a meeting and got to see Maddie in 2 soccer games on 2 different Saturdays! She scored 1 goal the first Saturday and 2 goals the next Saturday. She is quite the little soccer player! Drew wanted to play also, but there is no soccer for 2 year olds - but don't tell Drew that! Maddie was so cute and was very focused on the game. In my opinion she was the best player on their team...but then I can't imagine anybody not agreeing with me! Grandkids are just the best!
